TalkTalk launches Sky Sports season pass for £ 11 per month

The nine-month package includes access to 108 Premier League matches and hundreds of Football League matches, plus other major sporting events including the upcoming US Open, Ashes Cricket Series Closing Tests and every Formula 1 race. Really though, it’s designed for Premier League football fans, as it expires once the season is over.

TalkTalk claims the Sky Sports Season Ticket offers savings of over £ 200 compared to the full price packages on BT and Sky and is also cheaper than Virgin Media. The pass runs at 36p per day, or 92p for every Premier League game – that’s pretty well said.

What it doesn’t have, however, is BT Sport. This means you can only watch the Premier League matches exclusive to Sky – not necessarily a problem as it has the most matches, but if you want to be able to watch everything you should turn to one of the other providers.

TalkTalk customers will be able to purchase the Sky Sports Season Ticket from 23 August for £ 11 per month. The cost will automatically be added to the price of TalkTalk TV packages.

The provider currently offers a Plus TV, broadband, mobile SIM and quad-play calling plan for just £ 10 per month. This gives you 87 channels including Sky 1, Sky Living and Sky Arts, a free YouView + box, and plenty of on-demand content.

Sports fans who want a more flexible service can also opt for TalkTalk’s Sky Sports Boost add-on, which currently costs £ 15 per month. It’s more expensive, but unlike the subscription, it’s monthly, so you can cancel anytime.
