Brigit App Review 2022 – Forbes Advisor

The Brigit app offers cash advances between $50 and $250 with no credit checks or interest charges. However, this service is not free. To access cash advances and other features, you’ll need to pay $9.99 per month and meet Brigit’s eligibility criteria.

Although Brigit does not check your credit, she does require that you have an active checking account with regular direct deposits. More specifically, he is looking for:

  • A current account that is at least 60 days old and sufficiently active (Brigit recommends using your account daily for a few weeks)
  • An account balance greater than $0
  • A cushion of money left over after receiving a paycheck to ensure you can repay Brigit advances
  • At least three recurring deposits from the same employer or deposit source

Brigit will review your account information and give you a score between 0 and 100 based on your bank account health, spending behavior and income profile. You’ll need a score of at least 40 to qualify for a Brigit advance, which will range between $50 and $250 depending on your score. Brigit will update your score up to twice a day based on information she receives from your bank.

Deposits and withdrawals

You can borrow a small loan from Brigit, which will be automatically deposited into your bank account in one to three days. Some cash advances are available as soon as 20 minutes after you request them.

Brigit will automatically deduct your payment based on your direct deposit schedule. If you are unable to repay the advance, you can request an extension credit. The request must be made by 3:00 p.m. ET one business day before your advance is due.

You can earn an extension credit for two consecutive advances that you repay on the original repayment date. You can accumulate up to three extension credits at a time.

Interest and fees

Brigit does not charge interest, but charges a monthly fee of $9.99 to access her cash advances, credit loans, and other advanced features. If you prefer the free version of the app, you can still use its budgeting and account monitoring tools.

Brigit does not charge late fees or penalties.
