Too Hot to Handle Season 5: Where Are They Now?
Did any of this season's couples survive in the real world?
Too Hot to Handle returned for its fifth season, and a new group of singles desperately tried to avoid all physical intimacy in the hopes of taking home the $200,000 prize. As usual, the cast members struggled to resist sexual contact with their peers, resulting in some serious deductions being made by their host, Lana. In the end, $100,000 remained, and was split between two very deserving winners. But where are the cast members of Too Hot to Handle season 5 now, and are any of the couples still together?
Elys Hutchinson
Model Elys Hutchinson's Instagram presence reveals that she's a ski instructor throughout the winter. “I love a slippery slope,” the Swiss contestant joked. Since the show finished filming, she's been spending a lot of time with fellow contestant Christine Obanor.
Elys, of course, partook in a record-breaking 12 minute kiss with Alex Snell on Too Hot to Handle, which resulted in a $36,000 fine from Lana, via Women's Health. In the finale, Alex was offered $25,000 to leave the competition as a single man, but he chose to commit to Elys instead. They ended up declaring their love for one another in the final episode.
According to Cosmopolitan UK, the pair still follow one another on Instagram. However, in an interview with Elite Daily, Elys dished that she's currently single. “Right now, I’m focusing on my career,” she told the outlet. “I’m in L.A. with my family and having a really good time. I’m open to going on dates, meeting people, and seeing where it goes, but I’m very happy being single and doing my own thing.”
Most importantly, Elys won the entire competition, but decided to split the $100,000 with runner-up Dre Woodward, which was super sweet.
Dre Woodward
Shedre Woodward describes himself as an actor, model, and entrepreneur on Instagram. He holds a B.A. in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in Radio, TV, and Film from Clark Atlanta University, after graduating in May 2022.
Dre found a connection with Linzy on Too Hot to Handle, but their relationship didn't end up going anywhere. In the finale, he revealed that appearing on Too Hot to Handle had been more about his own personal growth than finding romance. As the runner-up, Dre took home $50,000 when the winner, Elys, decided to split the prize money with him.
Hannah Brooke
Hannah Brooke describes herself as a singer, actor, and model on her Instagram account, and it's clear that the Too Hot to Handle star has many ambitions following her tenure on the show. Ahead of season 5's release, Hannah released a fitness app, and social media proves that working out is still important to the reality star.
Hannah developed a flirtation with Isaac Francis during Too Hot to Handle, via Marie Claire, but their romance quickly died on the show.
Courtney K Randolph
Model Courtney K Randolph describes herself as “a limited edition Barbie” on Instagram, writing, “I come with two looks a bikini and a blazer.” She's also a realtor and content creator, and has remained close to Christine Obanor since filming ended.
An initial attraction to Isaac Francis fizzled out on the show, but the pair still follow each other on Instagram, which is a good sign, via Cosmopolitan UK.
Christine Obanor
“Houston Hottie” and “6’1 Goddess” Christine Obanor made quite the impact on Too Hot to Handle, thanks to her ongoing connection with Louis Russell. The pair even caused Lana to deduct $48,000 from the prize pot on account of a night of heavy petting, per Marie Claire. “I’m the girl every man wants but can’t have,” she teased on Instagram.
Since filming ended, Christine has developed a close-knit friendship with Elys Hutchinson. In the finale, Louis chose to commit to Christine instead of taking $25,000 to leave the competition. We're eagerly awaiting their relationship status!
Yazmin Marziali
“Part time party girl, full time drama queen,” Yazmin Marziali's Instagram declares. According to Cosmopolitan UK, Yazmin is a bottle girl from Montevideo, Uruguay, who is based in Toronto, Canada.
Much like several other women on the show, Yazmin found a connection with Isaac Francis, which she even joked about on social media. “When Isaac compares you to a car but you don't drive so you don't know wtf he's talking about,” she wrote.
Trey Rogers
Chicago-based Trey Rogers is signed to Select Model Global, and it's easy to see why. “From his dimples to his abs, Trey won’t need to work too hard to distract the girls,” Netflix said in a press release. “This 10/10 hunk has never had a long-term girlfriend, will the retreat change this or will Trey continue to struggle to commit?”
Since Too Hot to Handle stopped filming, Trey has mentioned one of his fellow contestants on Instagram. “Heard someone’s favorite candy was chocolate,” he wrote. “I got keys to the factory @christineobanor.”
Louis Russell
Brit Louis Russell got into all kinds of shenanigans on Too Hot to Handle, including a tryst with Christine Obanor that cost the group $48,000. “They call me the menace,” he teases on Instagram. A Netflix press release notes, “His hobbies include boxing, football… and making a girl fall in love for the night.”
In the finale, Louis was offered $25,000 to leave the competition as a single man, but he chose to commit to Christine instead. As noted by Cosmopolitan UK, Louis and Christine still follow one another on Instagram.
Bryce Saltmarsh
From the Gold Coast of Australia, Bryce Saltmarsh writes on Instagram, “I’m Chaotic for no good reason.” He's also a personal trainer and model who can be found striking poses all over social media. According to a Netflix press release, “If he’s not at the beach, the gym or a photoshoot, Bryce will be found making his way home from a girl’s house.”
Although Bryce didn't seem to find lasting love on Too Hot to Handle, we think he'll be just fine.
Megan Thomson
Hailing from Cambridge in England, a Netflix press release said of Megan Thomson, “This bundle of joy is sure to be the tonic the retreat needs once Lana unleashes her rules.” Her Instagram account proclaims, “I like crystals, coffee and crocs,” and the personal assistant is a huge fan of British boy band JLS, per Collider.
Even though she didn't find romance, Megan has remained good friends with Courtney K Randolph.
Hunter LoNigro
Hunter LoNigro is an influencer from Arizona, per Cosmopolitan UK. “His infectious personality has resulted in Hunter being Mr. Popular in his friendship group,” a Netflix press release reveals. He's most definitely an adventure seeker, who isn't afraid to bare his abs in any climate.
Since Too Hot to Handle wrapped, he's been spotted hanging out with fellow contestant Louis Francis. But sadly, he didn't find a meaningful romantic relationship on the show.
Linzy Luu
Linzy Luu describes herself as a DJ, a sushi chef, and an ex-hairstylist on her Instagram profile. “Made in Sàigòn, Việtnam raised in Hawaii,” she writes. “As someone who's not used to being told no, Linzy is going to have to work hard to tone down her vivacious spirit,” Netflix teased in a press release.
Linzy found connections with Dre Woodward and Louis Francis on Too Hot to Handle, but she didn't leave the show in a relationship. Since filming ended, she's been busy attending movie premieres and appearing in music videos.
Isaac Francis
Having been born in the U.K., Isaac grew up in the U.S. and hails from New Jersey. “I’m a master with my words, but Lana will assess the action,” he announces on Instagram. Not only is he signed to Wilhelmina Models in New York, but he also works in banking, per Collider. Since the show ended, Isaac seems to have been hitting the Jersey Shore.
On Too Hot to Handle, Isaac drew interest from several contestants, including Hannah Brooke, Courtney K Randolph, and Yazmin Marziali.
Alex Snell
“The modern day Greek God has arrived,” Alex Snell proclaims on Instagram. A personal trainer and model, Brit Alex has been showing off his abs since season 5 ended. “Waiting for Lana to come and join me at the gym so I can show her who’s really boss,” he announced in one Instagram post. His 12-minute kiss with Elys Hutchinson caused Lana to fine the group a whopping $36,000, after all.
In the finale, Alex was offered $25,000 to leave the competition, but he chose to commit to Elys instead. He even declared his love for Elys in the final episode. According to Cosmopolitan UK, Alex and Elys still follow one another on Instagram, but according to Elys, she's now single.
