Model Bella Hadid recently split with her long time boyfriend Marc Kalman, and a source says that she has been doing well in her single life and her sobriety. The social media star gave up alcohol in October of 2022.

“Bella isn’t focused on dating at the moment,” the insider told US Weekly. “She’s still in the process of adjusting to the single life after her split from Marc.”

They added that Hadid's “friends have been wanting to set her up,” but she is “really not in the mood right now.”

“She’s really proud of her sobriety and is focused on her well-being and her career for now,” the source continued. “She’ll get back out into the dating scene when the time is right, but for now she’s happy on her own.”

The former couple have been split for a while, though the break up only got confirmed this month. The split is reportedly amicable. They were first rumored to be together in 2020 and she confirmed it on Instagram in July of 2021.

In April of 2022, she shared more about her relationship with Kalman with Vogue, saying, “I think that’s why things have been able to last. When you give other people room to have opinions on things that are so personal to you, it poisons it.”

Hadid has shared quite a bit about other aspects of her life, especially her sobriety. She has been promoting her non-alcoholic beverage drink Kin Euphorics, and talking about how they helped her make the decision to give up alcohol.

“I don't feel the need [to drink alcohol] because I know how it will affect me at 3 in the morning when I wake up with horrible anxiety thinking about that one thing I said five years ago when I graduated high school,” Hadid told InStyle. “There's just this never-ending effect of, essentially, you know, pain and stress over those few drinks that didn't really do much, you know?”

She added, “I have done my fair share of drinking. I loved alcohol, and it got to the point where even I started to, you know, cancel nights out that I felt like I wouldn't be able to control myself.”
