Friday was the first birthday of Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's son Tatum, and of course he got a magnificent party to celebrate. Khloé went with a space-themed event with galaxy and rocket decor throughout the backyard.
Party bags included helmets and space treats, and there was a collection of blue and white balloons next to cardboard cut-outs of spaceships. The stereo was pumping Elton John’s song “Rocket Man,” a joke Tatum will appreciate when he's a little older.
In another picture, the many kids in the family are enjoying making space slime together.
And Tristan and Tatum blew out the candles on the space cake together.
Tatum is Khloé's second child with Tristan, they also share their daughter True. The Kardashian's star shared a bunch of photos from Tatum's first year of life on Instagram, writing him a loving tribute.
“I am a firm believer in that God gives you what you need and I needed you,” she wrote. ‘God knew my heart needed you. I needed your sweet and precious Smile. I needed your angelic spirit. I needed a love only you could give me. I needed my son.”
She continued, “I am so proud to be your mommy. So proud of the love and laughter we have in our house. So proud of your beautiful, gentle, loving, infectious spirit. You light up every single room. There’s no denying that Everyone smiles when they look at you! Especially True. she is so proud to call you hers.”
Tatum's grandma Kris Jenner also wrote a tribute to Tatum, sharing photos of him as well, and mentioning how much he resembles Rob Kardashian.
“Happy, happy birthday to my grandson Tatum, our beautiful little love bug, whose smile lights up a room!” she wrote. “Thank you for bringing even more love into our hearts, and for your precious personality and your sweet, sweet, happy spirit every single day. You are such a blessing and I love you to the moon and back!!! Thank you for the laughter, the fashion shoots, the ability to crawl faster than anyone I’ve ever met, and the way you bring me such a calm whenever I get my hugs… I’m honestly in awe of how you look exactly like uncle Rob.”
