Meghan Markle is ringing in her 42nd birthday Friday with stories about her and Prince Harry on the cover of both People and Us Weekly. People, Page Six, and Daily Mail also all have insight into how Meghan is celebrating her big day, following reports earlier this week about the state of her and Harry’s marriage and Hollywood projects.
Daily Mail ran photos of Meghan out with Harry for an early birthday dinner Wednesday at Tre Lune in Montecito, California. The dress she wore is available below for preorder:
Page Six reported that part of Meghan’s birthday week festivities included seeing the Barbie movie with Portia de Rossi and a few other friends in a Santa Barbara theater earlier this week. Meghan also met friends at the San Ysidro Ranch hotel on Monday night to celebrate.
People reported that Meghan’s actual birthday, August 4, would likely be marked by family time at her Montecito home with Harry and their two children, Archie and Lili.
However, Meghan hasn’t shared anything on Archewell about her birthday yet. Page Six reported earlier on Friday that Meghan does appear to have an Instagram account, @meghan, that she may launch soon. The account, which is private for now, has quickly garnered 42.1K followers after only having 2,000 when Page Six first published its story.
A source told Page Six, “Meghan was set to go live on Insta, but changed her mind shortly before she launched her Archetypes podcast, so it’s just sitting there now.” She teased her return to Instagram during her interview with The Cut last August, saying, “Do you want to know a secret? I’m getting back…on Instagram.” She ultimately hasn’t yet.
