After Bella Hadid reportedly broke up with her boyfriend of two years, Marc Kalman earlier this year, could it be that the supermodel has now 'soft launched' her new fling?
The supermodel, who parted ways with Kalman quietly ‘some time ago’ according to reports, shared an image of her looking cosy with August Baxter Quinif, an assistant manager at IMG Models, the agency that represents Hadid and her siblings, Gigi and Anwar.
Quinif, according to his portfolio, is also a freelance fashion producer and creative director and he accompanied Hadid to the Cannes Film Festival in June 2022, although it remains unclear in what capacity.
Regarding Hadid and Kalman's split, a source told Entertainment Tonight: 'They were very in love, but the relationship ultimately ran its course and they decided to end things. Bella is a very nice person, but struggles with the pressures of fame. She has been trying to take care of herself since their split.'
They said: 'Nine months ago, Bella decided she wanted to stop drinking, so she stopped. She has been sober for nine months and has never had an alcohol or drug problem. Bella is not in rehab.'
Now it seems as though, while Hadid's inner circle have suggested that she has no interest in dating, the star may well have soft launched her new relationship. Her latest post on Instagram features a seemingly loved-up selfie with Quinif. Of course, it might be that the pair are simply friends, but we're happy to see Hadid smiling after sharing her recent health issues on social media.
In March 2023, Hadid celebrated being five months sober. She is now also receiving daily treatment for Lyme Disease, which she was diagnosed with in 2012, the same year as her mother was, Yolanda Hadid.
Hadid and Kalman, a celebrated art director in the fashion industry who's worked closely with Travis Scott, are rumoured to have started dating in 2020 but only went public with their romance in 2021.
